Itinerary Detail

Day 1

Arrival at Cochin – Munnar (130 Km – 3 Hrs)

On arrival Cochin Airport/ Railway Station and meet our representative outside the Airport/Railway Station would receive you and transfer to the hotel. On arrival check into the hotel and take rest at leisure and later proceed half day sightseeing of munnar Visit Mattupetty Dam & Dairy Farm. You can also visit the Eravikulam National Park. Mattupetty dam and its reservoir is located 13 km away from Munnar. This concrete gravity dam is built between the hill ranges and it is used mainly for water storage for hydroelectric projects. Its reservoir is an idyllic place to enjoy the serene nature. It is also said to be one of the waterholes where the elephants in the region often visit. Evening back to the hotel and Overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 2

Full day trip Munnar

After Breakfast at Hotel, you will proceed for full day sightseeing across Munnar. you can visit the sightseeing like Echo Point,Kundala Lake, Kundala Dam,Indo Swiss Livestock Project, Mattupetty Lake,Munnar BoatingMunnar Tea gardens, Munnar Tea museum & Tea factory, Blossom Park, Pothamedu View Point,Hydel Park,Photo Shooting Points,Anamudi peak,Tea Powder Shopping, Munnar Elephant Ride, (on direct pay basis). In the evening back to the hotel and have a comfortable overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 3

Munnar – Thekkady (100 Km | 3 Km)

After breakfast, leave the hotel and drive to Thekkady. On arrival, check-in at the hotel and relax for a while. Thekkady is synonymous to uninterrupted hills, rich biodiversity, Periyar Lake & wild life Sanctuary,Chellarkovil,Murikkady, Pandikuzhy and spice plantations. The place is best known for the Periyar National Park, which is much-famed as the habitat of the endangered tigers. In the afternoon, you can explore the spice plantation (surcharge) sprawling across Periyar forests. In the evening back to hotel and overnight stay.
Day 4

Thekkady – Allepey (130 Km | 4 Km)

Early Morning after breakfast check out from the hotel and proceed to Alleppey , where you will be booked to stay overnight on the Houseboat. Staying in Houseboat is breathtakingly stimulating experience. While sailing down a maze of canals one sees different scenes from the villages, paddy fields, coconut palms, fisherman and local life. Lunch, evening tea & snacks, dinner next day breakfast and will be provided in the boat. The cool breeze from the Lake make you sleep early in the night after anchoring in a fancy place. Overnight stay at the Houseboat.
Day 5

Allepey – Kovalam (161 Km - 5 Hrs)

After breakfast check out from the hotel and drive to Kovalam by road. Upon arrival in Kovalam, check into the hotel and rest a while. Later, set out to enjoy some beach activities at the Kovalam Beach. Visit Thiruvallam Parasurama Temple, Halcyon Castle and do not miss the magnificent Archeological museum. Visit the Kovalam beach that has been divided into three parts –Lighthouse Beach, Hawah Beach and Samudra Beach. The Lighthouse is located at the southern end of Kovalam Beach, at a hillock named Kurumkal. Due to this lighthouse, the southern end of the Kovalam Beach is called as Lighthouse Beach. This lighthouse is 30 metres long and is painted in red and white colour. Tourists visiting this lighthouse can climb the 142 spiral stairs to reach the observation platform, from where views of Beemapalli Mosque and Poovar are available. Drive to the hotel and Enjoy the Stay overnight at the hotel.
Day 6

Kovalam – Trivandrum – Kovalam (88 km – 2.5 Hrs)

In the morning after breakfast drive to Trivandrum . You can explore Sri Padmanabha Temple, Napier Museum, Attukal Temple, Poovar Island, Varkala Beach.Sree Padmanabhaswamy Temple is the prime attraction of Thiruvananthapuram City. Situated in one of the seven Parasurama Kshetras,Padmanabhaswamy Temple is considered among 108 Divya Deshams or the holy abodes of Lord Vishnu. The idol of the presiding deity of Sree Padmanabhaswamy Temple is seen in a reclining posture (Anananthasayanam), which symbolizes the eternal sleep of Yoga Nidra. In the evening back to the hotel and have a comfortable overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 7

Departure from Kovalam – Trivandrum (17 Km – 1 Hrs)

After a delectable breakfast check out from the hotel and proceed to Trivandrum Airport/Railway Station to board your Train/Flight for onward journey with lots of beautiful memories.
